The “command centre” – named as such because we believe Abby secretly controls the house from it.

She loves the attached toys. We love that she can’t throw them overboard.

She loves that she can come with us to different rooms. We love that she is safe and sound and in our line of vision while we do a quick chore or even have a shower. It has been know to come into the bathroom when nap time and shower time don’t meet.

We love there is enough room to pop things like sippy cups on it. She loves occasionally having stuff to throw off it.

Mostly we all love how much fun she has bouncing up and down it – one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

Hi, My wife Lija recently bought a Mini Monkey sling because she was advised not to lift anything heavier than the baby.

I think this is by far the best product because it beats getting the stroller out the car. It can also be used until a child is two years old. The gentle rock the baby experiences whilst being in it puts them to sleep and it also converts into a hammock for when you go on holidays and don't have your cot.

The best thing we ever bought was our Jolly Jumper. It's had hours of use and has brought hundreds of giggles. The best thing about it is that it gives him the freedom to be in control of his fun. When bubs is happy, we're all happy.

10 reasons why Sophie the Giraffe is our favourite baby item!

1. BPA free, so knowing she is safe for our littlely gives me such a sense of relief.

2. Easy to hold, grasp onto, pull, twist and wave around because she is is nice and light.

3. Teething miracle, especially at ten weeks. My little girl knew exactly what to do with her striaght away.

4. Super easy to clean, just wash in some mild soapy water, shake and you are in business, ready for the next round of chewing.

5. Great squeeky sound when she is pressed and chewed

6. One moulded piece no nothing can break off.

7. Doesn't hurt mouths or heads, especially when she gets waved around like a mad thing.

8. Affordable

9. Pops in your bag so can go anywhere with us, and she does! She is a very well travelled Giraffe!

10. The best part of all are the squeals of excitment, saucepan eyes and out reached arms our daughter does when she appears.

Cooper loves his touchy-feely books, because he can get invovled. He can feel the bumps, find the mouse and turn the pages without ripping them! We have quite a few of these books, and I love them because they give us special times together.

... my Baby Bjorn!

Top 10 reasons why I love my Baby Bjorn:

1. It makes going out with my little darling so convenient, without taking time to open/fold up or manoeuvre a heavy pram in small spaces.

2. My hands are free which makes shopping easy -all without having to keep an eye on the baby in the pram/trolley.

3. My baby's body heat helps me to stay warm during these chilly winter months

4. I can smell the sweet fragrance of my little boy when he is so close to me

5. I can tilt my head and give the little one a kiss on the head which he loves

6. My baby can face towards me and snuggle into sleep or he can face out and watch what is happening in the world and take in everything around him

7. My precious baby feels safe and secure in his Baby Bjorn and loves the rocking and swaying motion when I walk.

8. My husband enjoys using it too with our little one- it's easily adjustable and easy to throw into the washing machine to clean.

9. My darling enjoys seeing things from up high, making it easier for him to interact with people because he is nearer to their eye level.

10. I always know where my baby is!

What's not to love about the Baby Bjorn? I've found it to be an awesome baby product. <img src='http://www.mychildmagazine.com.au/Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/Fck/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/wink_smile.gif' alt=''

As soon as my little boy was able to grasp, he loved holding the smooth wooden Bajo fish rattle and shaking it to get the bell inside to tinkel. When he started teething, the fish tail went straight into his his mouth to sooth his aching gums. Simple design, yet beautiful and functional.

My daughter Maya is a Treehouse fanatic! Not only does she have a new King Size Treehouse bed, she has all the matching accessories. Our favourite is the donut. Maya is now 3 and still sits and lies in her donut. There's nothing better than having your evening bottle of milk lying in the comfy donut and cuddling up to your favourite dolly before bedtime. Since she was a baby, this has been her comfort zone. Maya now has a baby brother called Bailey who also has a donut (blue, of course!)

What is the most adorable AND most useful item in our house? Definitely this minimink hat. Our daughter was born with not a hair on her head and, at 14 months old still hasn't any so she definitely needs a hat that will keep her warm but is stylish as well. This photo inspired me to poetry....

'You are bald baby Ruby' the young(ish) mum said

'you've been waiting for hair all your life.

So I bought you a Minimink hat for your head,

but must you wear it all day and all night?'

'When I was born' the babe replied to her mum,

'I looked forward to growing a mane,

but I'm 14 months old and still I have none,

so I wear my hat time and again'

<img alt='' width='2560' height='1920' src='/Portals/0/Forums/User Area/CIMG5683.jpg' One product that we can not live without in our house is our two Stokke Tripp Trapp chairs.

We have two daughters, Anjian who will be 3 in July and Indigo who will be 1 in a week. They both have a Tripp Trapp, Indigo has the baby seat attachment on hers and Anjian's is adjusted to the perfect height for her at the table. That is one of the real benefits of these chairs - they grow with your child, both the seat height and the foot rest height are adjustable, which is great for Anjian as being such a 'BIG GIRL' there is no way that she would sit in a highchair, but normal seats are still too low for her. Another benefit is that they wipe clean so easily. But, by far the biggest benefit is that they enable us to all sit together at the table for mealtimes. As we have quite a small table each of the girls get to sit next to and across from a parent. This allows for great modeling and some fantastic conversations!

We have just recently added the Stokke Table Top for Indigo, and what a great addition! It helps Indigo to feed herself and also keeps the floor much cleaner (great for me, but not so great for our dog!).

We love these chairs and didn't hesitate to buy a second for Indigo and wouldn't hesitate to buy a third should we ever need to.

I will post a photo when the problem with adding photos is fixed (still comes up with only the my child photos).

We love our Merino Kids Go-go Bag the most. Its got to be the best purchase I've made for my little one. He loves it, it keeps him nice and snug and wont overheat him as it regulates his normal temp. Its so nice we LOVE it! I found it while I was online looking at the Grobags. It was all so confusing trying to find out which one I needed and which size and when I'd need another which size would that be and I happened to stumble across a recommendation for the Merino Kids Go-Go Bag.

After researching it I decided it was exactly what I needed. Its made out of Merino which is a breathable fibre and also regulates bubs natural temp so I didn't have to worry about baby being too hot or too cold. I purchased the 2 pack which they have for sale, one is a summer weight bag and the other is a winter weight bag. It was as simple as that.

The bags fit from newborn to 2 years of age, which solved my main concern of having to pay for upsizing as well as weather conditions. I always get compliments because my little man looks so nice and snug in it when we head outside, I don't have to take him out of his bag when heading in the car or pram as it has a slot for baby to be buckled straight into both and that way he stays warm, its too easy. Its taken a worry away from me and now I know he will be 'just right' sleeping in his Go-go Bag :D

My son was in utero when he made enough money to buy his breastfeeding pillow, the MILK BAR.

He loves to nurse and I love it because my back doesn't get strained. It was the best investment as the height is perfect for us to become well aligned so to speak.

p.s. He earnt the money when I volunteered to have an ultrasound at a sonography conference. They paid the volunteers $100, the pillow was only $65 but the rest went on parking downtown!

Our Favourite Product is.....The Ikea Antilop High Chair!

As most first time parents, we spent a lot of money on the top of the range high chair for our little one but as soon as solids hit and we knew how important it was for her development to explore foods, we found it was taking a hour to clean every inch of the expensive highchair, thats when we found this simple, elegant, streamlined highchair at Ikea and our problem was solved.

Ranked as one of the safest highchairs around by choice magazine, the simplicity of it fits in all decors and when the tray is taken off the chair fits neatly up to most dining tables to enjoy a family dinner with your child. We deorated ours for our daughters hawaiian pool party themed 1st birthday as seen above.

Cleaning is a breeze as you can she above the spaghetti dinner simply wiped off with no staining at all, we have often just taken it outside and hosed it off to same time and just recently purchased another to keep outside for summer bbq's or for when guests with babies come to visit.

Priced at only $39 its not only the best product but the best buy!

My favourite product is the nifty little Tommee Tippee Fresh Food Feeder, the little mesh bag clips closed securely so bubby can eat all sorts of fresh fruits without the risk of choking. Strawberries are our favourite. Since my baby is now 13 months and has yet to cut a tooth, it has come in very handy for us and allowed her to enjoy all sorts of fresh foods.

<img width='2224' height='1482' alt='' src='/Portals/0/Forums/User Area/CIMG4894.jpg' I have already written a post about what I cannot live without, but this one is from my almost one year old daughter, Indigo.

Indigo cannot live without her Rabbie by Keptin Jnr. Rabbie is organic and very cuddly. Indigo has had Rabbie since birth and has formed a real attachment to him. I only bought one initially, but soon searched online stores to purchase another. One lives in her cot and the other in my handbag. It's not only a great comfort item, but it really lets her know when we are approaching bed time. Rabbie has been everywhere with us, including Thailand - when I can attach a photo, you will see Indigo with Rabbie in her pram which was taken in Thailand.

I know that many children have a special comfort item (my older daughter has Moe the Orang-utan, who is from Taronga Zoo - and much loved), but Rabbie is so portable, easily washed and it is great to know that he is organic.
