Breastfeeding and trying to conceive! 

I've cut out the night feedings and i've gotten my periods back but no luck yet, any advice?

Breastfeeding only stops conception if there is enough breastfeeding to hinder ovulation... and basically you have to be breastfeeding or lactating 24/7 .... i breastfed my 2nd child for 20 months ( she was feeding every 3-4 hours)  and fell pregnant ( without trying) when she was 18 months old.

If you have a period then it means you are most likely ovulating so now its a case of enjoying your partner :-).

I'd start taking temperature and checking for ovulation- but the best advice my doctor gave me was " it takes 9 months for your body to make a baby- so it needs at least that amount of time to recover from it- and often your body is selfprootective and wont allow you to fall so you are healthy enough to have the next one" ( although i think it needs 9 months from when you stop breastfeeding to recover lol)
