Just thought I'd ask... We are slowly TT our little DD1 who is 2yrs 4months old.. shes been going to the potty up to 4times a day and still wearing nappies for about 2months now...  Still not game to take the nappies just yet...

Re: Is anyone Toilet Training?

I have a few friends toilet training and everyone's experience is generally different with each child.

Some refuse to sit on the toilet for their mum, but will for their dad (which is a control issue). Some start toilet training and then stop. Some will happily sit on the toilet, but then not do anything until the minute they're off, and then create a mess. Some will refuse to pass stools on the toilet and get scared which then makes them constipated (my first did that and it was very trying). And then there are other children who take to toilet training easily (my second). Although, I initially tried at 2 years of age with my second for a few days and we had too many accidents. Then I tried again a month or two later and it all went well.

I guess there's no harm in trying without the nappies, but as with everything, there's no harm in waiting until the right time for you and your little one.
