How far is too far if selecting gender?

A couple friend of mine just had a baby girl and made it known that they only want one child and they tried for a girl.  They used the timing method in relation to ovulation date to achieve the desired effect.  But how far is too far?  Timing?  Diet? Position? Medical science?

What repercussions are there?

Love & stuff

Re: How far is too far if selecting gender?

Its a tough question.

My DH and I have two darling little girls and I have finally convinced him to have another one (next year we'll start trying)

We are going to do what we can to conceive a little boy, but would welcome a little girl just as much.

I have read up on the timing on ovulation / conception etc and many different dietry options... I'll do some more reading and research before we really worry.

But once we start I will post about my progress etc..

Basically there is no harm in trying as long as they remember there is 50 / 50 chance.
