Competition Terms and Conditions

These rules apply to all prize promotions including free draws, prize competitions and instant win offers. Unless stated otherwise, Promoter is Poppet Group Pty Ltd. Entrants must be over 18 and resident in Australia or New Zealand unless otherwise specified. Employees/families/agents of Promoter/its associates are not eligible. One entry per person/per household.

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY.

Details of winner can be requested in writing. Prize is subject to availability/may be substituted. No cash alternative/prize is non-refundable/non-transferable. Promoter accepts no liability for lost/damaged/incomplete entries. Proof of entry is not proof of delivery.

Winner may need to sign statement of eligibility/liability/publicity release. Third party’s terms and conditions may apply. Details of entries will be kept on a database and may be used and passed to third parties to enable the processing of Competition/prize fulfilment/where entrant has consented to share this information with other companies for marketing. To the extent permitted by law, Promoter excludes all liability for any loss in connection with the Competition.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Information on “how to enter” and prizes form part of conditions of entry. Participants can enter via the website www.mychildmagazine.com.au unless otherwise stated. Entrants will be required to provide a 25 words or less answer to a question (as listed on the main competition page) unless otherwise stated and provide their full name, address, postcode, email address and telephone number. Incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. Only one entry per person per day will be permitted.

2. Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand unless otherwise specified, except employees and immediate families of the promoter, associated companies and agencies.

3. Total prize values are RRP only.

4. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on each person who enters. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. No correspondence will be entered into.

5. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.

6. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. All prize values are in Australian dollars. Any change in value of the prize occurring between the publishing date and date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter.

7. All entries become the property of the promoter.

 

FEEL FREE TO FEED CAMPAIGN TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are ineligible.

2. The competition is open to Australian residents only and starts August 1 2007 and closes May 4 2008. 3. Entrants are asked to write a story about breastfeeding specifically relating to the themes of the campaign – that is, acceptance of breastfeeding in public places, breastfeeding and returning to work and breastfeeding in relation to the healthcare system – and send it to editorial@poppetmedia.com.au or Feel Free To Feed, My Child, PO Box 1779, Rozelle NSW 2039. The nine best letters as chosen by the judges will be printed in the following issues of My Child: Summer 2007/8 (Issue 07), Autumn 2008 (Issue 08), Winter 2008 (Issue 09). Three letters will be published in each issue.

4. The writers of each letter published will receive a prize pack comprising: a Kyrawear sleep bra valued at $39.95, a Corsierre breastfeeding top valued at $69.95, a $150 voucher to be spent at www.nursingwear.com.au, a $150 voucher to be spent at www.mothersdirect.com.au and a two-year My Child subscription, valued at $53.70. Total prize package valued at $463.60.

5. Of the nine letters selected for publication, one will be judged the Breastfeeding Story Of The Year. This will be announced in the Spring 2008 (Issue 10) issue of My Child. The overall winner will receive return airfares to Sydney for their nearest capital city, valued at up to $1797 and two nights accommodation for two adults and a child,valued at up to $533, a makeover and photo shoot for My Child, plus a photo to keep, dinner in Sydney valued at up to $200, Kyrawear sleep bra valued at $39.95, a Corsierre breastfeeding top valued at $69.95, a $500 voucher to spend at www.nursingwear.com.au, a $500 voucher to spend at www.mothersdirect.com.au, and a two-year My Child subscription, valued at $53.70. Total value up to $3639.90. To redeem the overall prize, the winner must be available to travel on the weekend of June 20-22 2008.

6. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of the winner redeeming the prize, or participating in any aspect of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.

8. Individual prizes have no additional inclusions unless specified in the prize descriptions above.

9. No spending money is included for any prize associated with this competition.

10. All flights included are economy class and may be taken from any capital city in Australia. Airline taxes and other fees are to be borne by the prizewinner.

11. The winners of the nine letters published will be notified by email. The overall winner will be notified by phone.
